Terms of Stay
Micro Villa is fully furnished. Duvets, pillows, bedsheets, pillow cases and extra blankets are provided. Towels, tea towels and dishcloths are supplied as well.
Full standard cooking facilities, pots and pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery are provided, however if you have a specialised piece of cooking equipment you require we recommend that you bring this with you.
Coffee and tea facilities are available with standard tea bags, instant coffee and sugar (milk is not included). Cleaning products, rags, dish washing liquid dishwasher powder, laundry detergent and toilet paper are supplied.
Free fibre broadband Wi-Fi, Freeview TV, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwashing machine, vacuum cleaner, security alarm and HD cameras outside. Free parking for up to 3 vehicles, patio with barbecue and outdoor furniture.
What to bring
Food and beverages including milk for coffee and tea facilities, herbs and spices (other than pepper and salt). Personal hygiene products including shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, insect repellent, hair dryer etc.
Any other items or products you require due to special needs or allergies.
The price of your stay does not include standard cleaning and tidying. Guest are responsible for keeping the property clean and tidy during their stay. and upon checkout leave the property in the state they found it.
An additional charge of NZD 60.00 will be charged if guests do not clean and tidy the property upon departure.
We reserve the right to charge additional costs for cleaning and/or repairs if upon inspection we find the property in an unreasonably dirty or messy state and/or physical damage or broken items or facilities are found.
Confirmation / Payment
Confirmation of your booking will be upon payment for the full period of stay. The standard rate per day/night is NZD 250.00.
Full payment is expected at the time you make your booking.
Cancellations and Alterations
If you cancel your booking at least 28 days before arrival, your payment will be refunded in full no later than the arrival date.
If you cancel your booking for any reason less than 28 days before arrival, no refund will be given unless we are able to find new guests to stay during the dates of your booking. In that case we will refund the part of your payment we can recover from new guests during the dates of your booking.
Check In and Check Out
Check-in time is 2pm or after. Early check in may be possible with prior written consent from us.
Check out time is 10am (or 10am if you have opted for the cleaning service). Late check out may also be possible with prior written consent from us.
Pets and Smoking
This is a smoke-free property. Smoking of any kind including E-cigarettes and vaping is prohibited inside.
Micro Villa is pet-free. For health reasons (i.e. allergies) we can not allow pets. Should it be discovered that there is a breach of this condition, we reserve the right to evict the tenant (with no refund) and the tenant will be required to pay for the fumigation and cleaning of the home to return it to a pet-free status.
Noise & Gatherings
We have a zero tolerance policy in regard to noise. Noisy parties or gatherings are not permitted. 21st birthday parties, Hen and Stag nights are not permitted. We ask that you respect the neighbours. If complaints are received and a breach of peace has been made a $100 penalty fee will be charged and the tenant risks being evicted from the property.
Large gatherings for birthdays, weddings, conferences or similar such activities, where the number of people in attendance at any one time far exceeds the stated number the house sleeps, must first be approved by the management.
At any time during the booking process Micro Villa Management may decline/cancel a booking should they become aware of a potential risk of damage to the home or undue disturbance during the stay.
The maximum number of occupants that the home sleeps is 6 persons. Pitching tents is not permitted. Minimum night limitations may apply to event weekends, long weekends due to Statutory Holidays, or school holiday periods. Please enquire with the management if necessary.
It is our company policy to prohibit bookings made for groups of individuals who have anyone under 20 years of age (please note: this does not include families with children under 20 or groups of workers). Proof of age may be requested from any individual at any time and those unable to comply will be asked to vacate.
Damage & Personal Liability
The guest is liable for damages to any property or content of the property incurred during their stay. Please inspect the property and report any damage immediately to the managers upon arrival. The tenant will be required to sign a form upon arrival that states they accept full responsibility for any charges for the home during their stay. It will also acknowledge that the tenant is personally liable for payment for any damage to the home or property both malicious or accidental by themselves or any of their guests and that any remaining balance can be charged on their credit card or invoiced directly to them should a credit card not be provided.
Should tenants lose any house keys then the tenant will be held responsible for the replacement costs of the keys and may also be held liable for the costs of replacing locks if deemed necessary.
Tenants stay at their own risk and Micro Villa management will not be held liable for damage caused to tenants or their personal property when circumstances arise outside of our control. i.e. nature and weather.
On occasion outstanding debts may be forwarded to a collection agency if required.
Micro Villa management takes no responsibility for belongings left in the houses however we will endeavour to return any items that we may find. There may be a retrieval fee for the return of any found property, items will be held for 3 months before being disposed of.
Micro Villa provides rubbish, recycling and organics bins which are put out on the required day by the caretaker. If any of the bins should become full during your stay please let the management or caretaker know so we can arrange for it to be emptied.
We do not guarantee that the products and services that are listed will be continuous or fault free. We will endeavour to repair/replace any faulty item as soon as practicable before and during your stay. Events beyond our control, such as poor weather, power cuts or unforeseen electronic breakdowns, do not give the tenant the automatic entitlement to a discount, unless such event has prevented the tenant from being able to safely occupy the property altogether and we are unable to relocate the tenant to a property of equal size and standard.
Changing These Terms and Giving Notices
We may change these terms, by changing or removing existing terms or adding new ones, at any time. The change applies from the time it is published on our site.
If we need to give you any notice, we can do this by emailing you at the last email address you have provided us. You are deemed to have received the email at the time the email leaves our server.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ourselves.
Our failure or delay in exercising or enforcing any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
If any provision of these terms is found by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the Court should endeavour to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these terms remain in full force and effect.
Should you be asked to vacate the property early due to breach of these terms and conditions you will be liable for payment of the full period of time originally booked.
We collect personal information from you, including information about your name and contact information.
We collect your personal information in order to contact you regarding your booking or enquiry.
We keep your information safe by storing it in encrypted files and only allowing certain staff members to see it .
We keep your information for 3 months after the completion of their booking at which point we securely destroy it by securely erasing all digital evidence. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
